The last stop of my euro trip was Prague – Czech Republic. Prague is the capital and largest city in Czech Republic. A historical city with a thousand years of history and famous with unique architectural heritage from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo-Classical and ultra-modern.
so CZECH this OUT!!!!!!!!
The first place i dropped by is the Wenceslas Square. It is the main city square and centre for business, cultural events and celebrations.
The museum on Wenceslas Square and the St. Wesceslas Statue is in front of the museum.
The shops along the Wesceslas Square. You can find restaurants, shops for clothing, souvenirs, hotels and even casino here!! =)
Then, i walked to the Old Town Square. Located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge. This is a popular tourist attraction and place where all the tourists will gathered.
One of the important features of Old Town Square is the Astronomical Clock. The clock is composed of three main components: the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details
Charles Bridge is a famous historical bridge in Prague to connect the old town and Prague Castle. The bridge is decorated by a continuous alley of 30 baroque-style statues.
The view from Charles Bridge.
The old town.
Acrossed the bridge, you can see the Prague Castle from far. But the sad news is, due to the time limits, i dont have enough time to explore the castle thoroughly. I just have a quick walked and took some pictures. Definitely i will pay a visit again. =)
The church in the castle.
And guess what, i bump into the hotel named ARCHIBALD City hotel. What a coincidence.. hahaha… Nate Archibald from Gossip girls?
Mc D is always a good choice for meal when traveling in Europe. =)
The night view of Wesceslas Square. Good night Prague. See you again~
