yea~sorry for a bit of delay..cuz i lazy to transfer the picture from my camera to laptop…wahaha…
first chinese new year in my life tat no ang pao…no limau…no reunion dinner…no lion dance..no gamble…also the first time i celebrate CNY oversea…is not as happening as previous new year…but i guess is was special…
on the CNY eve i was working…i didnt plan anything for myself..cuz the next day everybody is working as usual…except me…but at the very last minutes!! one of my colleague say wanna go watch movie…n he invite me to overnight at his house after tat (cuz i still staying far from the town)…tat sounds great!! i am thinking may be after movie i can go to have a drink…lol~=p
6 of us…3 engineers, 1 accountant, 1 planner, 1 draft designer hanging out together…not much movie choice…n we put our hope on “Alien vs Predator 2″…sorry to tell..i din even watch the first movie…haha…is kind of boring for me…i almost fell asleep in the cinema…
after the movie…is dinner time!! since i am the youngest…n not really familiar wit the town..so i waiting them to suggest the place for dinner…n i will just follow…then suddenly one of them say “Al Meshwar”…really?? i am excited…cuz i heard tat was one of the best restaurant in the town…everybody agreed…then we head to that restaurant…i am surprised..cuz i never thought tat i will goin tat restaurant so fast…expect the unexpected!! life is rocks~
this place is freakin nice…on the left of this is Pizza Hut and on the right is KFC…looks very cool right…they serve western, arabic n lebanense foods…the interior design is very nice…there are garden and rooftop, normally for ppl that want to sheesha, just in case u dunno wat is sheesha..is like “water smoke” with the smell of fruits…ground floor is ala carte…n second floor is buffet…my fren recommend me to try their chicken burger…it taste really good….is homemade style of chicken burger…the burger is fresh n juicy…not those burger that from freezer…then my colleague having their sheesha time there…invited me to try…but i am not really interested….n sorry i dun have any picture inside the restaurant…cuz arabic ppl they very sensitive…they dun like ppl simply taking picture…so i onli can take the picture of the restaurant from outside….
on the first day of CNY, all my fren is working…haha..onli me hav leave…credit to my boss…since i am on leave…i am forced by my frens to cook something for them…wanted to cook some chinese food…but the sources n ingredients is limited…so finally i decided to cook spaghetti…lol~~ dun wanna talk so much bout it…just see the result!!
looks good???wakaka…i think my cooking skill is improving…lol~~for those cant taste tat…next time i cook again ya~~
then the next day (second day of CNY)…i went to dubai…shopping at city center…get myself a new pair of shoe…and a piece of t-shirt…check out the price for i-phone n i-pod…feel so wanted to buy…haha~ a lot of branded stuff also…but i control myself~ lol~ do proper planning first…so i will not regret…lol~
after tat i head to Dubai Global Village…this is a festival that held once a year (feb-march)..at one very big empty place…they will build up a open air shopping fair with different themes (country)…each of the section will hav one theme such as UAE, India, Philippine….that section will only sell or display things with respect to their theme…can experience different culture there…n try the food from their country…
spend bout 3 hours there…then go back to Fujairah lo!! thats it my CNY…simple…but i quite enjoy it!! =p
