.:Days at Cinema:.

for me, the best way to kill time in KL is go to the cinema… buy a ticket,  popcorn and drink… sit down and enjoy the show…

Lately, I visiting the cinema quite often… and the movies i watched for the past one month are…

District 9

i would say is a very interesting movie… the movie started off with narrating by the main character… and the introduction of  “prawns” (alien) on earth… looks like a documentary video… but the story continue with the actor himself turning into an alien… the escaping and fighting part was spectacular… didn’t expected would be that good… there were some ppl left the cinema at the middle of the movie… as Kevin said… this is a love it or hate it movie… like Cloverfield… but i kinda like it…

Up

Typical Disney cartoon with warm and touching story line… a husband traveling with the flying house just to accomplish his wife’s dream… kareen cried in the cinema… kevin said it was the best cartoon of the year (if i am not mistaken)… for me is just average… may be i am just not too keen in this type of cartoon… Southpark or Happy Tree Friends were definitely my type~ haha

Murderer

Never plan to watch this movie… but while waiting Kareen for her delivery… me n Felix went to Tropicana Mall to catch a movie… since i already watched G.I. Joe and District 9… so not much choice left… we decided to watch aaron kwok on the big screen… initially felix thought that it was police movie with murderer with some action etc…but the movie was freak out… very complicated and interesting plot… the real killer was hard to predict… at the end of the show… felix was kinda regret to enter the cinema… LOLXX!

Final Destination 4

OMFG… i paying money to see how ppl die and scared myself… lol~ still prefer the old Final Destination… this time the way they died was unrealistic la…

and the next movie i looking forward is

hey guys~ long time didn’t update my blog edi…was busy lately… try to adapt myself with the so called ” working life”… just in case u dunno, i already working for 2 months. serving a geotechnical company, doing some ground improvement works. working days from mon to sat, 8am-6pm.. sat half day… =(

working life is boring…i mean really really boring…every morning leave house about 640 am… try to reach LRT station before 7am to avoid the “jam”… from wangsa maju take kelana jaya line to masjid jamek… then from masjid jamek change to ampang line to salak selatan, take about 50 minutes… then 10 minutes walk to office… what a long journey…

my title is geotechnical engineer… or u can call me a “soil doctor”… let say u wanna build something on a particular land… and that land is not in a good condition… my job is to assess it, propose a solution and fix it… =) the job is interesting… because involving a lot of uncertainties and can be very subjective… just that working hours is a bit long la… haha… =P  i really dont have much time for myself… n my life become a routine edi.. wake up then go work.. then after work come back home n rest.. then next day work again… OMG!!! i study 4 years for degree just to get this kind of life??!!?

one more month before probation period end… thinking hard… =P stay or leave??!!?

Finally!!! I am done with my undergraduate study… is time to have some fun… while some of them still waiting for their oral presentation… we went to pangkor to chill out…

We left UTP in the morning, after breakfast in Tronoh, then head to Lumut jetty…brought quite a lot of stuffs… cuz we wanted to do steamboat in the apartment… we even bring our own  pot and hot plate… credit to suet yeng for borrowing us… =)

In the Pan Silver ferry, from Lumut to Pangkor island… the ferry was quite nice… the condition is new… and the air-cond is super cold!!!  they are 10 of us… so we rent 5 motorbikes to travel in the island… the rempits were me, shenv, edwin n 2 hot chics, kareen n pei chie…

After checked in to apartment, the first activity was boat trip… Rm150 for 10 ppls… i felt like cheated… cuz the trip was quite short… nothing special or surprised… but with a bunch of friends… i dont really mind paying extra, cuz the fun with friends cant evaluated by money… =)

Stopoed at one of the island nearby… snorkelling around and see fish…but the area is dangerous,  a lot of the sharp rock… some of us are injured… =(

Am I a bad guy? If  I were… I dont think I deserved to torture by 3 girls… buried me deep inside the sand… stepped on me… =(

while edwin sleep soundly on the beach… dam enjoy n relax… why i cant have a peaceful moment like this… lol~

After the torturing session… had some ice cream to cool down…

then spotted hot chic n hunk on the beach~

The activity for night is STEAMBOAT session…look at the ingredients we brought… although is heavy, I am sure is worth the effort… super super nice…

Take a closer look… all the balls.. the prawns… the tau poks… fish… and the soup was prepared by chef shenv and edwin… thanks!!!

Everyone is fighting for food!!! NO MERCY!!! eat or die!!!

The trip ended the next day… we left pangkor at noon… then went to sitiawan for cendol and lunch at Ayer Tawar…. is a not luxury or adventurous trip… but just relax and catch up with each others… n thanks Ming Hwa for joining us… happy that you were here with us…. =)
